    Research interests

    My research interests cover the understanding of the relationships between local order/disorder and the properties of zeolites and related nanoporous materials, combining experimental and theoretical approaches of multinuclear Solid-State Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy. My work focuses on the organic-inorganic or gas-solid interface in porous materials to probe the connectivity of pores and cages and understand the phenomena of crystals formation. The synthesis and modification of different porous materials including zeolites and zeotypes (aluminophosphates) with diverse structure directing agents took a considerable part of my work also.

    The aim of my current works is to control acid and defects sites distribution in zeolites by developing new approaches to rationalize their synthesis. My last interests focus on an in-depth characterization and modelling of hydroxyl groups in zeolites (silanols and Brønsted acid sites) - the main actors in zeolite-based catalysts, by combining experimental and theoretical approaches.
