In situ study by high temperature NMR spectroscopy of the local environment around the different nuclei present in electrolytic baths allow to describe experimentally the dissolution of different impurities and its influence on the species distribution in the melt. We present here some description of our approach concerning phosphorous and iron impurities in cryolitic melts.
